Abstract: All-Star guard Bradley Beal, who is coming off his first season with the Phoenix Suns, is looking for a win that has nothing to do with work. He's putting his Venice, California, home up for sale for $8.5 million.

The former Washington Wizard bought the contemporary-style home just three years ago for $6.8 million. If this "rare gem" attracts the right buyer, Bills will make a substantial income.

Below are interior photos of his offseason residence, which at 8,091 square feet is one of the largest homes ever built in the neighbourhood.

The five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home features a cool grey palette and an atmospheric layout that stretches from the entryway to the living room, dining room and kitchen. It's full of clean lines and a fresh, modern aesthetic.

The kitchen features luxurious Miele appliances, quartz countertops, a walk-in pantry and a huge island. Cozy fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom are perfect for after-hours enjoyment.

The home also has a finished basement (which is not uncommon in this part of the US) with a wine cellar, home theatre and luxurious wet bar.

The oversized main sleeping space features a separate sitting area and an adjoining bathroom with a walk-in shower and soaking tub. Wide sliding glass doors lead to the tranquil courtyard where a heated pool and spa await you. The yard and the rear of the home are fenced for privacy, but the home is also convenient to the nearby beaches, Santa Monica Pier and the Westside of Los Angeles.

Beal, 30, was a star player in college at the University of Florida. in 2o12, at the age of 19, he was drafted by the Washington Wizards, where he has spent his entire NBA career to the present day. Beal was named to the All-Star team three times and made the playoffs with the Wizards five times, but never advanced past the second round. In June, Beal was traded to the Suns, where he will try to be a strong alternative to Kevin Durant and Devin Booker in the desert.
